Insider reveals 42 under 42 stars for 2016

A property developer, a filmmaker and a digital marketer are among the names to have made it into Insider‘s prestigious 42 Under 42 list.

The latest instalment of the annual institution, which recognises the most promising business leaders and entrepreneurs under the age of 42 from across the North West, includes representatives from sectors as diverse as property, media, marketing, manufacturing, accountancy, retail, hospitality, healthcare, IT, and hair and beauty.

The 2016 edition features a mix of high-profile business leaders and up-and-coming names, all with time on their side to go on and achieve even more in the future.

They include: Stephen Beech of residential property developer Beech Holdings; Simon Owen of video production company Standby Productions; Nick de Sousa of restaurants Tariff & Dale and the Lead Station; Solly Solomou and Arian Kalantari of media company TheLADbible Group; Johnny Shanahan of hairdressing group BarberBarberUK; and Kelly White of digital marketing agency Red Cow Media.

Miri Thomas, Insider editorial director, said: “Unveiling the 42 Under 42 class of 2016 is a personal highlight for me. Forty-two-names join our hall of fame, which is our collection of the trailblazers, innovators and rising stars.

“It feels even more special because these people are handpicked out of dozens of nominations and it means a lot to them. I contacted each one before we went to press and the replies I received were genuinely heartfelt.”

North West Business Insider‘s 42 Under 42 list is sponsored by Kuits, Saffery Champness, and the Salford Business School at the University of Salford. It is hosted by the Lowry Hotel.
