Beech to begin construction in New Cross

https://beechholdings.co.uk/ne...Create Construction is set to start work next month on a mixed 15, nine, and seven-storey PRS project in Manchester’s New Cross for Beech Holdings.

Beech Design & Build outlined its plans for the project last October, which reaches its highest point at the corner of Rochdale Road and Bendix Street. Featuring 155 private-rented apartments, the development will also house a communal hub, gym, basement car park, and ground floor commercial space. Beech Design & Build is the architect.

The 24,000 sq ft site, currently used as a surface car park alongside vacant office space, is bounded by Bendix Street, Thompson Street, Mason Street, and Rochdale Road. Blackpool-based Create is due to start enabling works in August and will start main works in November, with a completion date pencilled in for November 2020.
