Beech gains ‘Best Place to Work’ accreditation

Beech was recently accredited as a ‘Best Place to Work’ by Best Companies, who measure workplace engagement and help businesses build a happier workforce.

Best Companies sent their survey to all 140 Beech Holdings employees back in September 2017, which was completed by staff across all levels of the business. The anonymous results were then sent back to Best Companies for analysis and we were delighted to be awarded with a one-star accreditation, which represents a ‘very good’ level of employee engagement.

Going through the survey process and results with the Board of Directors has given us a greater insight into our employees’ aspirations and a better understanding of what we are doing well and what we need to work on.

This accreditation marks the start of our Beech Holdings’ employee engagement journey, with employee wellbeing being placed high up the agenda. We have already started to think about how we can put some of the learnings into practice and hope to achieve an even better star accreditation rating in the future.
