BBC’s Sam Walker interviews Stephen Beech

Stephen Beech took to the airwaves today and revealed to BBC’s Sam Walker his plans to create a huge mural for music legend and original Mr Manchester, Tony Wilson.

When asked why he wanted to immortalise Tony, Stephen reflected back by saying the Mancunian had been in his life since year dot, from drinking in The Dry Bar and listening to music icons to his sister partying in the famous Haçienda nightclub.

The mural which will be created by a professional artist will proudly feature on the side of Mindel House on Minshel Street in Manchester City Centre.
